Health and Safety : In order to continue meeting our needs in a growth environment, EBC is looking for safety advisors who will be responsible for ensuring that safety measures are taken to protect the health and safety of every day-to-day worker on the construction site.

Responsibilities

- Plan, organize and coordinate all activities related to the prevention of accidents and occupational injuries on site.
- Act as a resource person for health and safety at work.
- Be responsible for welcoming workers to the site and ensure that every worker knows the risks specific to his work.
- Ensure the application and monitoring of the health and safety management program on site.
- Promptly complete computerized daily reports and their related sub-files by inserting the necessary documentation (i.e., daily interventions, number of workers, accidents, disciplinary measures, etc.).
- Intervene when there is a risk of accident and follow up with the investigation following an accident or a major incident.




- Plan and ensure the safety of visitors on site.
- Discuss work methods with the workers, in relation to the work to be done and according to the profile of the worker.

Requirements

- Relevant experience of at least 5 years.
- Knowledge of OHS legislation and regulations.
- Holds a valid first aid certificate.
- Mastery of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Comfortable with technology.
- Bilingualism (English and French).
