Expected Travel: Up to 50% Position Summary This position manages a medical device sales territory for Teleflex's Acute Care business in the Canadian market, covering anesthesia accounts in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The sales include airway and pain management products such as LMA®, Rusch®, Arrow®, and Hudson RCI®. The role prospect and execute new business opportunities to exceed revenue targets, grow market share, and secure new users within the geography.

The representative will build multi-level relationships with clinicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, EMS providers, and hospital procurement teams to maximize territory sales, profitability, and future business opportunities.

Principal Responsibilities

Implement sales plan and achieve sales goals for the territory, maintaining existing customers and prospecting new business. Provide training and account in‑servicing to medical directors, physicians, paramedics, nurses, EMTs, and administrators; educate customers on product use, procedures, and industry trends. Develop and maintain detailed account profiles, including customer preferences, competitive products, market activity, and key decision makers; use SFDC effectively.

Use business analytic tools and territory knowledge to conduct strategic territory management plans. Account for all territory expenses and materials. Review current literature for current developments within the healthcare field, including competitive information.

Coordinate regional and national conferences, ensuring proper setup, booth coverage, and breakdown of exhibits; attend local, regional, and national tradeshows to promote products and in‑service customers. Maintain knowledge of company products and competitive offerings utilizing available technology tools. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication and superb presentation skills.





Show proficiency with the continuous education program through competency assessment.

Education / Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree required, 2–6 years of acute care sales experience; MBA is a plus. Prior medical device sales experience to hospitals, surgical centers, and clinics preferred.

Experience within the Montreal region, CAG, HealthPro, and Medbuy is preferred.

Experience with EMS services is preferred. Self‑directed, able to work independently, handle multiple projects concurrently, and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment. Excellent organizational, analytical, problem‑solving, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proficiency with computer technology, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SFDC, Power BI, iPhone, and iPad platforms. Ability to handle difficult conversations and provide excellent customer service and presentation skills. Clinically knowledgeable, using basic anatomy & physiology to support sales.

Strong understanding of market analysis, planning, development, and management.

Skills / Other Requirements Carry detail bag weighing up to 20 lbs. Lift equipment weighing up to 30 lbs. Stand or walk in meetings for 6–10 hours per day, up to five days per week. Effective verbal and written communication with pre‑hospital and acute care hospital market stakeholders. Strong clinical knowledge and ability to discuss products, procedures, and industry trends with emergency medicine customers. Strong analytical skills and sound business acumen.
