Position Overview
Canadian Health Providers is looking for a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing team.
This is a field-based, door-to-door business development role focused on building relationships with family physicians, medical clinics, law offices, rehabilitation professionals, and other referral partners.
The Sales Representative will visit local offices in person, introduce Canadian Health Providers and our services, distribute marketing materials and flyers, and develop ongoing professional relationships that generate patient referrals.
This position is ideal for someone who is confident speaking with professionals, comfortable walking into businesses, and motivated by building relationships and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit family physician offices, walk-in clinics, medical practices, law offices, and other professional offices on a daily basis.
- Introduce Canadian Health Providers and explain our available healthcare and rehabilitation services.
- Drop off flyers, brochures, business cards, and other promotional materials.
- Identify key decision-makers and referral contacts within each office.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with physicians, clinic managers, lawyers, paralegals, receptionists, and office staff.
- Generate new referral relationships and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Follow up with offices after initial visits to build long-term relationships.
- Schedule meetings or presentations with physicians, lawyers, clinic owners, and other potential referral partners.
- Represent Canadian Health Providers in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Effectively communicate the benefits and availability of Canadian Health Providers' services, including:
- Chiropractic care
- Physiotherapy
- Massage therapy
- Psychological services
- Rehabilitation services
- Accident-related rehabilitation and treatment
- Other multidisciplinary healthcare services offered by the clinic
- Explain how our clinic can support patients referred by physicians, lawyers, and other professionals.
- Educate referral partners about the clinic's services, accessibility, appointment process, and multidisciplinary approach.
- Answer general questions and direct clinical or patient-specific questions to the appropriate healthcare professional.
Relationship Management
- Develop a strong network of referral sources within the local healthcare and legal community.
- Maintain regular contact with existing referral partners.
- Track visits, conversations, leads, and follow-up activities.
- Identify high-potential offices and develop targeted relationship-building strategies.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with healthcare and legal professionals.
Daily Activities May Include
- Planning a daily route of target offices.
- Visiting multiple physician and law offices throughout the day.
- Introducing yourself and Canadian Health Providers to office staff.
- Leaving promotional materials.
- Speaking with clinic managers and physicians where available.
- Following up with previous contacts.
- Scheduling meetings with prospective referral partners.
- Updating CRM/sales tracking records.
- Reporting daily activity and results to management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, business development, marketing, healthcare sales, pharmaceutical sales, or customer-facing roles is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Confident approaching new people and starting conversations.
- Comfortable entering skilled offices and introducing yourself to staff and decision-makers.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Goal-oriented and comfortable working toward sales and activity targets.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage a daily route and multiple follow-ups.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is an asset.
- Experience working with medical clinics, physicians, lawyers, personal injury firms, or rehabilitation providers is strongly preferred.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Complete a consistent number of in-person office visits each week.
- Establish new professional contacts and referral relationships.
- Follow up consistently with prospective referral partners.
- Generate qualified referral opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales and activity records.
- Contribute to growth in patient referrals and community awareness of Canadian Health Providers.
This is primarily a field-based position, with the majority of working hours spent visiting offices and developing relationships in the community.
