- Assist with audits, inspections, and internal audits
- Help ensure the regularity of financial statements
- Provide assurance on the level of control over operations
- Preserve and enhance operational control
- Lead and influence development projects and complex strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors
- Develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions
- Advise clients and partners on positioning, planning, development, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives with a high degree of internal auditing risk
- Oversee qualified standard compliance reviews and employee supervision
- Monitor implementation of action plans developed in response to internal audit reports
- Serve as subject matter expert for the unit, departments, and audited sectors
- Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
- Assist with reporting to decision-making bodies
- Serve as expert advisor, resource person, and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
