Affirm is hiring for a senior backend-focused engineer to own quarterly goals for a high‑scale team and deliver reliable systems. You’ll work with product, design, and analytics to balance risks and trade-offs while maintaining quality and ownership across the codebase.

You have 4+ years designing and launching backend services in Python or Kotlin, with distributed systems on AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes. This remote Canada role offers robust compensation and equity opportunities.
