C Merak Innovations is a Saskatchewan-based food ingredient innovator specializing in high quality faba bean and pulse derived proteins, starch flours and fibres. We are seeking a motivated, proven ingredient sales leader to help lead domestic and export growth for our ingredient portfolio across food and beverage, animal nutrition and cutting-edge manufacturers. This is a strategic, senior-level role that blends team leadership with hands-on account leadership, channel development and technical-commercial selling.

Experience developing and leading a technical sales team in a complex sales environment is important. This position can be remote, from anywhere within Canada, with travel to support customers and business priorities as required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- - Grow opportunities and revenue with direct accounts and channel partners
- - Lead strategic accounts with structured business reviews, margin management and long-term growth plans




- - Build new business through disciplined prospecting, relationship development, and technical solution support
- - Manage distributor and broker partners
- - Partner with R&D; to deliver functional solutions in bakery, beverages, extrusion, nutrition and clean-label systems
- - Drive pipeline discipline for forecasting, opportunity tracking and account planning
- - Represent the company at trade shows, customer demos and events
- - Build the methodology and approaches to deliver results

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

- - 10-15 years of food sales experience within North America - ideally plant proteins, flours, fibres, or functional solutions
- - Proven track record of team leadership
- - Strategic relationship approach with disciplined sales processes
