Overview

Our municipal sector client is seeking a

Senior PeopleSoft Technical Consultant to provide support during a period of resource constraints. This role will focus heavily on

PeopleSoft Payroll

, while also supporting HCM and FSCM environments, ensuring the stability of payroll-critical systems and providing technical expertise across production support, upgrades, integrations, and year-end activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for PeopleSoft Payroll, HCM, and FSCM environments.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, incidents, and system defects.

- Support payroll-critical systems, including year-end processing, tax updates, T4 reporting support, and Oracle image deployments.

- Develop and maintain PeopleCode, SQL, queries, and integrations.

- Manage Oracle support tickets and assess releases, patches, and updates.

- Support data integrations between PeopleSoft and third-party applications.

- Document technical solutions, processes, and system changes.

- Work closely with Payroll, HR, Finance,



and IT stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of PeopleSoft technical consulting experience.

- Strong experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM, PeopleSoft Payroll, PeopleSoft FSCM

- Advanced SQL skills.

- Hands-on PeopleCode development experience.

- PeopleSoft Query development and reporting experience.

- Experience supporting and troubleshooting integrations between enterprise systems.

- Experience with Oracle image deployments, patches, upgrades, and production support.

- Experience working within payroll-critical environments.

- Solid troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and serve as a senior technical resource.

Nice to Have

- UKG Workforce Management (WFM) / UKG Pro experience

- Canadian payroll and year-end processing experience

- Municipal or public sector experience
