Reporting to the Manager, Property Claims, you will be responsible to investigate, assess and settle losses in residential property claims for Allstate Insurance Company of Canada in the Greater Toronto, Ontario area. This position will work from a home office.

- Interpret insurance policy wordings as well as determine policy coverage and reserves
- Provide prompt and equitable settlement of claims while exercising superior customer service for policyholders
- Work together with customers as well as vendors to bring a file to completion providing both sides with a resolution
- A minimum 5 years’ experience adjusting residential property claims or working in a relevant property claims role.

Experience in complex claim investigation Strong verbal and written communication skills with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Bonus qualification Experience handling large loss residential property claims would be a definite asset Experience adjusting auto claims would be considered an asset. Completion of the IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) or the HAAG Certification is considered an asset.

Experience working with property estimating programs such as Symbility and/or Exactimate is preferred Allstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
