As the Senior Recruiter at Capital One Canada, you play a pivotal role in recruitment.

You are responsible for recruiting/sourcing technology and business professionals; Software Engineers, Engineering Leaders, Technical Program Managers and other roles that come your way. You take a creative approach to seeking out the best talent, employing innovative recruiting techniques that enable us to be a best-in-class recruitment shop. In partnership with your team, you will effectively manage candidates through the recruiting and selection process, provide consulting and guidance to our business clients and participate in projects that enhance the recruiting experience.

Your internal clients are very engaged in, and will be working closely with you to support the recruitment process. This role, and the associates you hire, will have a huge impact on helping Capital One Canada drive forward. Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process.

This will include creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One’s talent brand to attract top talent, screening candidates, advising hiring managers on the recruiting process, and negotiating job offers Look beyond direct applications and leverage search engines, career sites, recruiting events,



and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market Advise clients and leadership on market trends and recommend more effective ways to attract and recruit great talent Develop candidate pipeline strategies to fill open positions (i.e., Leverage recruiting data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners 3+ years of experience in technology recruitment in a corporate/staffing environment recruiting for niche/senior level positions ~ Strong track record of hiring software engineers at multiple levels across different software engineering domains ~ Experience collaborating with recruiting managers and peers on sourcing strategies ~ Experience serving as a talent advisor and partner to hiring managers and engineering leadership for all things related to recruiting. Workday experience is a strong asset ~2+ years of experience leveraging sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Stack Overflow, and Google x-ray searches of Twitter or GitHub ~Enjoy a hybrid work setting, with 3 days in the office.
