Senior UX/UI Designer (Mobile)

Work Location: downtown Toronto, ON.

Work Model: 4 days / week on site

Role Summary

Seeking an AI-forward UX/UI Designer to support the rapid development of a new mobile application. The role will focus on defining UX specifications and designing new mobile application experiences while ensuring consistency with established brand standards, design systems, accessibility requirements and iOS Human Interface Guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Define UX specifications for a new mobile application build.

Design UX/UI experiences and interfaces for new mobile application functionality using Figma.

Work alongside rapid application development teams throughout the design and build process.

Ensure design consistency and alignment with established brand standards.

Design within pre-existing design systems.

Apply iOS Human Interface Guidelines to mobile application design.

Apply responsive and accessible design principles.

Conduct and support user research as part of the design process.





Produce clear design documentation and guidance to support application development.

Publish design documentation and guidance directly to GitHub repositories.

Work effectively within a fast-paced, start-up-style pod and rapid development environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on UX/UI design experience supporting recent mobile application development/builds

Demonstrated ability to design in a rapid application development environment, working at the pace of an active new application build.

Strong proficiency with Figma.

Experience working within pre-existing design systems while creating new application experiences.

Strong understanding of design consistency and brand alignment.

Knowledge of iOS Human Interface Guidelines.

Experience with responsive and accessible design.

User research skills.

Basic understanding of GitHub, with the ability to publish design documentation and guidance directly to a repository.

Comfortable working within a start-up-style development pod.
