Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring proper food handling and timely delivery
- Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setup and sanitation procedures
- Support kitchen staff by coordinating orders and ensuring efficient communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve guests promptly and uphold high service standards
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally,

- Assist in training new team members on restaurant procedures, POS operation, and customer service excellence

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of the food industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; previous cashiering experience preferred
- Strong understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols within a restaurant setting
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
- Previous kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
