Miso Sushi is a small, casual Japanese and Korean restaurant in Valleyview, Kamloops. We are looking for a friendly, attentive, and reliable Part-Time Server to join our team.

As a server, you will help with both dine-in and takeout service, as well as general front-of-house duties. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers and take dine-in, takeout, and phone orders
- Serve food and drinks and check in with customers throughout their meals
- Answer customer questions and address any concerns
- Pack and organize takeout orders accurately
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Explicit and clean tables
- Clean and maintain the dining area
- Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and service runs smoothly




- Restock supplies as needed
- Complete restaurant closing duties, including cleaning and preparing the restaurant for the next day
- Assist with other general restaurant duties as needed

Qualifications

- Friendly, reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling cash and processing transactions
- Able to stay organized and multitask during busy periods
- Familiarity with Japanese and Korean food is preferred
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred

Pay: $18.25 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
