The Certification Services

Representative, 12 month contract role is responsible for providing and maintaining certification services for current and existing clients and to promote other CWB related service lines. Auditing of companies – validating welding activities i.e. verification of personnel and their welding credentials; Procedure testing – Conduct testing for non – prequalified joint assembly as per the requirements of CSA W59. Welder testing – Conduct individual performance testing as per the requirements of CSA W47.Public Safety activities- visiting job sites, liaising with building inspectors, engineers, and current and prospective clients.

In this position, you will report to the Eastern Regional Supervisor, Certification and will work PRIMARILY in person onsite at client locations and occasionally work from your home office providing remote services in the province of Quebec. You may be required to work from other locations or to travel (staying over 30% of the time), as may be necessary in the course of your duties . French written and verbal skills are essential to the role.





Minimum 5-10 years hands‑on experience in the Welding Fabrication and Inspection industry, or as a Welding Educator Technical background and knowledge of the Weldingand Joining industry CSA 178.2 Level 1 or 2 Inspectors Qualifications or industry equivalent (e.g. Ability to work with indirect supervision Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Experience in using web-based platform e.g.

Microsoft Teams

Travel Required

Approximately 50-70 % travel is required within the designated territory Technical Skills Technical/other training or better.
