Vera’s Burger Shack is looking for a reliable, experienced, and motivated Shift Supervisor to join our Calgary team immediately.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced restaurant leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their work, and is ready to take ownership of daily restaurant operations.

We offer a competitive starting base wage of $16.00/hour PLUS tips, along with employee meal advantages and free on-site parking.

What We’re Looking For The successful candidate must have:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a leadership/supervisory role
- Valid Food Safety certification – mandatory
- Valid Pro Serve certification – mandatory
- Previous restaurant or food-service experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer-service skills
- A positive, dependable, and responsible attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Ability to work hands-on and lead by example

About the Role This is a hands-on supervisory position. The Shift Supervisor is expected to take responsibility for the smooth operation of the restaurant and participate in all daily tasks required to run the business — no exceptions.

Your responsibilities will include

- Leading and supervising the team during shifts
- Preparing and cooking food
- Taking customer orders and operating the POS
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining food quality and consistency
- Cleaning and maintaining the restaurant
- Dishwashing and kitchen upkeep
- Restocking and organizing inventory
- Receiving and putting away deliveries




- Completing opening and closing duties
- Maintaining Food Safety and cleanliness standards
- Training and supporting team members
- Handling customer concerns professionally
- Ensuring all daily operational standards are followed
- Completing any other tasks required to keep the restaurant running smoothly

We are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and do the work alongside the team. This is not a desk-only supervisory position. Compensation & Benefits

Store Hours
- Sunday–Thursday: 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Friday–Saturday: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM

Supervisory shifts may include opening, closing, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on business requirements.
