- Operate concrete batch plant and waste management equipment.
- Operate mobile equipment, including loaders, sand trucks, buses, skid steer, and vac trucks.
- Practice secure work habits and comply with company safety policies, including completing daily operator care rounds; -----ensure proper machine startup, operation, and shutdown procedures; and assist with preventative maintenance when appropriate.
- Perform manual labour as required, including regular lifting of materials and luggage.
Required:
- grade 12 or equivalent;
- at least five (5) years of relevant work experience;
- equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
- valid Class 2 drivers license;
- experience with dozer, 872 grader, 644 & 744 loaders, track hoe, and 35-ton rock truck;
- safety-oriented team player with excellent communication and organizational skills;
- mechanically inclined with knowledge of equipment and hand tools;
- able to clearly communicate with team members when needed;
- willingness to perform manual labour as required;
- must be proficient with using computers, including Microsoft Office/365; and
- work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Recommended:
- valid Class 1A drivers license;
- bagging station & labour work;
- previous lead hand or supervisory experience;
- ACI (American Concrete Institute) Certification; and
- previous experience with SAP.
