Worker – BSW receives clinical supervision and administrative direction from the Manager and/or designate.

The Social

Worker – BSW is a competent clinical practitioner assisting individuals, families and groups. They offer a professional working relationship, including an understanding of the social work role,



of a conceptual model of practice, and of the SHA philosophy, objectives and policies. Preference will be given to candidates with medical social work experience Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Basic - Computer skills Knowledge of local and provincial resources and agencies Knowledge of Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers Standards in Healthcare Knowledge of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action Skilled in psycho-social assessment and the ability to work with individuals Ability to apply learn knowledge and concepts in the health care setting Knowledge in the SHA, community resources and applicable programming Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)
