CFASA is seeking a full‑time Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team, supporting children and families in‑home/community services (FSCD funded & Private).

This role offers the prospect to deliver neurodiversity‑affirming,



strengths‑based speech‑language pathology services that are meaningful, functional, and family‑centered. This role is well suited to an SLP who values variety in their work, autonomy in clinical decision‑making, strong collaboration with families, and making a tangible impact in the lives of children and families. This is a permanent, full‑time position (1.0 FTE / 35 hours per week), with flexibility in scheduling, hybrid service delivery (in‑person and virtual) and opportunities to bank time.

You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that values inclusion, reflection, and the voices of Autistic individuals and families, and is committed to meaningful, family‑centered supports. Provide neurodiversity‑affirming, person‑and family‑centered speech‑language pathology services in‑home settings and community environments.



Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized service plans (ISPs) aligned with the child’s strengths, needs, and family priorities.

Deliver direct intervention using naturalistic, child‑led, and evidence‑informed approaches. Support communication development across speech, language, social communication, and AAC, as appropriate. Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, caregivers, and team members.

Provide parent coaching, consultation, and education to support communication within everyday routines and environments. Team Support, Workshops & Capacity Building Provide mentorship, coaching, and clinical guidance to Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) implementing SLP strategies. Plan and facilitate workshops or training sessions for families, staff, or community partners (e.g., Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case discussions, and collaborative planning.

Contribute to CFASA‑wide initiatives, professional learning opportunities, and continuous improvement efforts. Collect and analyze data to inform clinical decision‑making and service effectiveness. Adhere to CFASA policies, professional standards, and ethical guidelines.
