Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality math instruction tailored to students’ individual learning needs and skill levels
- Prepare and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and foster active participation
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback
- Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and enthusiasm for learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and address any learning challenges
- Incorporate diverse teaching strategies, including classroom activities and laboratory experiences when applicable,
to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress reports in compliance with program requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at various levels, including classroom experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of math concepts across multiple grade levels and the ability to convey complex ideas clearly
- Excellent communication skills to engage students and collaborate with parents and team members effectively
- Experience working with students requiring special education accommodations or tailored instructional strategies is a plus
- Familiarity with laboratory or hands-on activities related to math education is advantageous
- Demonstrated passion for education, problem-solving, and inspiring young learners to excel in mathematics
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics confidently while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
