Enhance patient care as a Speech-Language Pathologist at UHN, specializing in communication and swallowing disorders among adults. This temporary full-time position thrives in a collaborative environment. As a Speech-Language Pathologist within UHN's Transitional Care Program, you will conduct assessments and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Engage closely with a multi-qualified team, participating in both clinical duties and educational initiatives to ensure quality care for complex cases. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient assessments and treatment for communication issues
- Engage in clinical rounds and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in family care conferences to support decisions
- Conduct Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Studies for patient evaluation
- Review patient histories to inform care strategies Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid registration with CASLPO
- 2 years of experience in an acute care environment preferred
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration experience
