Partner with sales and account teams to scope, design, and present Data & AI solutions during the pre-sales cycle

Lead technical discovery sessions with clients to assess current-state data/AI maturity and define target architectures across multicloud environments

Architect end-to-end, multicloud solutions spanning data engineering, data governance, analytics/BI, and AI/ML platforms on Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud

Advise clients on cloud platform selection and workload placement based on cost, performance, and data residency requirements

Develop statements of work, level-of-effort estimates, and solution architecture documentation

Provide delivery oversight and technical leadership on Data & AI engagements, ensuring solutions meet client requirements and OnX quality standards

Stay current on Data & AI and multicloud technology trends (cloud-native data platforms, MLOps, generative AI, data governance frameworks) and translate them into practice offerings

Mentor and develop junior consultants and engineers within the practice

Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, whitepapers, and internal enablement content

Support vendor and partner relationships across Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake relevant to the Data & AI ecosystem

8+ years of experience in data architecture, analytics, or AI/ML consulting, with demonstrated pre-sales and delivery experience

Proven experience as a multicloud architect, designing and delivering data/AI solutions across at least two of Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud

Deep expertise in contemporary data platforms (e.g., Snowflake,



Databricks, Azure Synapse/Fabric, AWS Redshift) and AI/ML tooling

Experience leading technical discovery and solution design for enterprise clients

Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security practices across cloud platforms

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences

Relevant certifications across multiple cloud providers (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud data/AI or architecture certifications) preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience

Pay range: $110,000 - $173,000 The pay range set out above reflects OnX's anticipated compensation for this position at the time of posting. The successful candidate's base pay will be determined within this range, taking into account factors such as primary work location, role scope and responsibilities, required qualifications, and the individual's experience, education, skills, and knowledge. OnX does not request or rely on a candidate's salary history in setting compensation for this role.

Certain positions may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as discretionary bonuses or sales-based variable pay, in accordance with the applicable plan terms.
