Ebco Industries
Richmond
Ebco) is one of Canada’s largest manufacturing facilities with over 65 years in manufacturing expertise. We deliver world-class quality manufacturing and repair and rebuild services to projects based domestically and worldwide. Our strengths encompass the complete spectrum from heavy metal fabrication, heavy machining, turnkey assembly to light precision machining and fabrication as well as precision sheet metal fabrication.
ACSI) is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of cyclotron equipment used for the production of radioisotopes and radiocompounds for nuclear medicine. Our global customer base includes hospitals, universities, research facilities and commercial distributors of medical isotopes. We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who understands that the best candidates are rarely the ones applying — they are the ones you find.
This is a high-impact, full-cycle recruiting role with a mandate that spans two companies: Ebco Industries, with 100+ employees in industrial manufacturing, and ACSI, which is in the early stages of a 44-hire expansion program to staff its recent Surrey facility ahead of a 2028 opening. You will manage a diverse recruiting portfolio — high-volume skilled trades for Ebco's production floor alongside highly specialized technical and scientific roles for ACSI (engineers, physicists, control technologists, cyclotron specialists). This requires both the ability to run efficient volume hiring processes and the patience and skill to build passive candidate pipelines in narrow, competitive talent markets.
Manage full-cycle recruitment for Ebco Industries and ACSI across all role levels — from skilled trades to technical specialists and scientific professionals. Conduct proactive direct sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, industry networks, conference contacts,
and university relationships — with a focus on identifying and engaging passive candidates who are not actively job searching. Develop ACSI's employer brand and candidate-facing presence, including careers page content, LinkedIn company presence, and employee story content.
ACSI's mission — enabling cancer diagnosis and treatment worldwide — is a compelling and underutilized proposition. Establish and maintain relationships with post-secondary institutions (UBC, SFU, BCIT) for engineering, physics, and technical programs; develop co-op and internship pipelines. Create targeted, market-focused job postings and advertise across appropriate channels including LinkedIn, Indeed, Manufacturing Job Site, industry associations, and campus platforms.
Administer and continuously improve applicant tracking, candidate data management, and source tracking — establish baseline metrics for time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire. Maintain communication with hiring managers across Ebco and ACSI to understand immediate and forward-looking hiring priorities. 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated success filling both volume trades/industrial roles and specialized technical or professional roles. ~ Proven experience with passive candidate sourcing and direct outreach — posting and screening alone is not sufficient for this role. ~ Experience recruiting in manufacturing, industrial, or technical environments strongly preferred. ~ Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Personal Attributes: Resourceful and self-directed — able to build a pipeline from scratch with limited existing infrastructure. Strong market intelligence; Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple concurrent searches at different stages.
