As a NAPA Counter Sales , you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines—though that’s a plus—but having a background in automotive parts is important.

What You Will Be Doing

- Providing auto parts solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
- Using your parts knowledge to assist team members with customer questions.
- Delivering outstanding customer care and interactions.
- Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores.
- Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Utilizing technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalogs.

What You’ll Need

- Valid Driver’s License.
- Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn.
- High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Strong listening skills and customer empathy.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

- Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership industries.
- Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems.
- Customer-centric attitude.
- ASE Certifications are a plus but not required.
