Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping journey
- Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and offering personalized recommendations
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to help customers make informed decisions
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card payments
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked and visually appealing
- Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing sales or promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication skills
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and merchandising techniques is advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in product presentation and stock management
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with customers through friendly phone etiquette and active listening
