Duties

- Lead and supervise store staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellent customer service and sales achievement
- Develop and implement merchandising plans to optimize product displays, pricing strategies, and inventory management
- Oversee all aspects of store operations including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, payroll processing, and bookkeeping
- Recruit, interview, and train new team members to ensure they meet company standards for performance and customer engagement
- Manage purchasing decisions and vendor relationships to maintain optimal stock levels and product variety
- Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare budgets, and execute marketing initiatives to boost store visibility and profitability
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and store procedures at all times

Qualifications

- Proven supervising or managerial experience within retail or similar customer-focused environments




- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Excellent communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities preferred to serve diverse customer bases
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail sales, merchandising, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, payroll administration, and bookkeeping practices
- Skilled in recruiting, training & development of staff, as well as conducting interviews effectively
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment
- Knowledge of marketing principles and promotional activities to enhance store visibility
- Ability to handle administrative tasks with precision while maintaining excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards
- Strong math skills for budgeting, pricing calculations, and financial record-keeping
- Time management expertise to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy retail setting
