OMERS Private Equity (“OPE”) is a $10 billion evergreen fund making direct private equity investments on behalf of OMERS. Evaluation and execution of new investment opportunities: Research, analyze and evaluate new investment opportunities through industry research, competitor assessments, financial statement analysis and financial modeling Develop financial models depicting a company’s historical and projected financial results Prepare commercial and operational due diligence Assess financial returns and risks for new investment opportunities Prepare internal investment presentations Evaluate operating and financial performance Work alongside management to research and execute tuck-in acquisitions Support capital structure management,
including debt refinancing, tax planning and capital budgeting Ad hoc operating projects alongside management Working towards an undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Finance Prior student work experience in investment banking, equity research, management consulting or private equity is an asset The opportunity to develop and grow your investment expertise while being a part of an engaged team of investors committed to meeting the pension promise Ongoing learning, mentorship, and networking opportunities The opportunity to be part of the student community at OMERS & Oxford Properties Networking and educational session with different leaders across the business The expected salary range for this position is $66,300.00 - $87,750.00 per year, prorated based on the term of the contract.
You may also be eligible to receive an annual Incentive Award pursuant to our Short-term Incentive plan and our Long-Term Incentive plan (if applicable), and to participate in our group benefits and retirement plans – details on these elements of compensation are included within OMERS & Oxford offer letters.
