Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Shift Supervisor to lead restaurant operations, support Team Members, and ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive shift.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the Shift: Take ownership of daily operations, lead by example, and ensure restaurant standards are maintained.
- Shift Huddle: Conduct a short huddle at the beginning of the shift to communicate goals, expectations, promotions, assignments, and priorities.
- Set & Monitor Targets: Set clear shift targets for Speed of Service (SoS), customer service, cleanliness, waste, and overall performance.
- Manage SoS: Understand and monitor SoS, adjust team deployment during peak periods, and communicate performance and concerns to Store Management.
- Delegate Duties: Assign Team Members to stations and delegate cleaning, stocking, production, waste, and secondary duties during the shift. Follow up to ensure completion.
- Team Communication: Actively communicate with Team Members, provide coaching and feedback, recognize good performance, and address issues professionally.
- Customer Service: Ensure fast, friendly service and handle customer concerns appropriately.
- Restaurant Standards: Maintain cleanliness,



food safety, product quality, equipment cleaning, and proper restaurant procedures.
- Management Communication: Provide clear shift handovers and report important operational, staffing, equipment, and performance concerns to the Store Manager/Assistant Manager.

Job Requirements
- Previous Tim Hortons, QSR, restaurant, or food-service experience preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.
- Robust communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to delegate, coach, and hold Team Members accountable.
- Understanding of Speed of Service (SoS) and restaurant performance.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset.
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
