Play a crucial role in the rehabilitation of justice-involved men as a Residential Support Worker at Homeward Bound Residence in Toronto. This relief position ensures a secure and supportive living environment. In this role, you will provide counselling and supervision while addressing the unique needs of residents under community supervision.
Your responsibilities will encompass case management, ensuring safety, and fostering a positive atmosphere through structured support. Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competency will be essential in delivering effective care. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver shift-based responsive support to residents
- Maintain accurate documentation for all interactions
- Ensure safety and security in the residential environment
- Conduct wellness and safety checks regularly
- Uphold ethical and skilled standards at all times Requirements:
- Degree in Social Services, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years working with mental health and addiction issues
