The company is looking for an experienced C++ Engineer with 5+ years of experience developing low-latency systems. Experience within financial services, trading, or HFT would be ideal, although candidates from other industries with strong and relevant technical expertise will also be considered.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and enhance high-performance trading systems that collect market data and route orders across global exchanges.
- Optimise systems for speed and efficiency, using C++ alongside network and systems programming techniques to minimise latency.




- Build scalable platforms that provide access to historical market data and support trading simulations.
- Develop analytical tools to identify trends and patterns within large datasets.
- Create and maintain risk-management, monitoring and performance-tracking systems.
- Contribute to the wider engineering team through technical interviews and occasional university recruitment activity.

Skills/Must Have:

- 5+ years of skilled experience developing low-latency systems in C++.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and object-oriented programming.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience working with Linux environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.

Salary:

- Approximately CAD $250K total compensation.
