Data is not just a tool for us. Reporting to the Director, Brand & Program Marketing, we are hiring a Manager, Marketing Communications.
As our new Manager, Marketing Communications, you will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of integrated marketing communications that strengthen member engagement, support partner marketing initiatives, and drive business results. Working across Marketing, Digital, Analytics, Partnerships, and external agencies, you will translate business priorities into high-impact campaigns, ensuring every initiative has a clear objective, measurable outcomes, and seamless execution. Beyond delivering campaigns, you will set priorities, manage budgets, coach and develop a Marketing Communications Coordinator, and continuously identify opportunities to strengthen how marketing communications contributes to the success of one of Canada's most recognized loyalty programs.
This posting is for a full-time, hybrid role, working three days per week on-site at our Toronto office. You will own the marketing communications strategy behind integrated campaigns that reach millions of Canadians. Rather than simply coordinating execution, you will define priorities, shape communication plans, and guide initiatives from concept through measurement, ensuring every campaign supports business objectives and delivers meaningful results.
Scene+ is continuing to evolve into a leading lifestyle loyalty program, creating new opportunities to engage Members across everyday spending, entertainment, travel, dining, and more. You will help shape how the brand connects with Members while collaborating with some of Canada's most recognized consumer brands to deliver high-profile marketing initiatives. This is an chance to build on your marketing leadership experience by coaching and developing a Marketing Communications Coordinator while influencing how work is prioritized, delivered, and continuously improved.
You will be trusted to balance strategic thinking with execution, strengthening team effectiveness while building strong partnerships across the business. You will partner closely with teams across Partnerships, Digital, CRM, Analytics, Creative, and external agencies, giving you visibility across the business and the opportunity to influence decisions beyond Marketing. By measuring campaign performance, identifying insights, and applying learnings to future initiatives,
you will play a direct role in driving member engagement and business growth.
As our new Manager, Marketing Communications, you will: Lead marketing communications strategy. You will develop integrated marketing communications plans that support member engagement, partner marketing, acquisition initiatives, sponsorships, and new partner launches. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will establish priorities, define campaign objectives, and ensure marketing communications aligns with broader business goals.
You will oversee the execution of integrated marketing initiatives across internal teams, agencies, and external partners, ensuring projects remain aligned on scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. You will anticipate risks, remove roadblocks, and provide the leadership needed to keep multiple concurrent initiatives moving forward successfully. You will provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and performance management for the Marketing Communications Coordinator, creating an environment that encourages accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
You will balance hands‑on support with thoughtful delegation, helping the team deliver exceptional work while continuing to build their capabilities. Measure performance and drive continuous improvement. You will evaluate campaign performance, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and continuously refine marketing communications strategies to improve engagement and business outcomes.
You will champion a data-informed approach, ensuring lessons learned are applied to future initiatives. You will work closely with teams across Partnerships, Brand, Digital, CRM, Analytics, Creative, and external agencies to align marketing initiatives, communicate priorities, and deliver a consistent member experience. You will also provide oversight for internal communications and employee engagement initiatives, ensuring they reflect business priorities and brand standards.
The marketing expertise. You have experience developing and leading integrated marketing communications strategies that align with business objectives and deliver measurable results. You know how to balance brand, member,
and commercial priorities while translating business goals into compelling marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
The project and stakeholder management skills. You can confidently manage multiple high-profile marketing initiatives at once, bringing structure, organization, and sound judgment to competing priorities. You use data and campaign insights to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and continuously improve future marketing initiatives.
