Posting Posting: Posted On Part-time, Temporary OPSEU Local #332 35.40- $38.64 per hour Temporary replacement New Path Youth and Family Services is an accredited children's mental health agency providing a range of compassionate, innovative and accessible services for children, youth and their families throughout Simcoe County. The Quick Access

Clinic is often the first point of contact for many New Path clients. Clinicians support clients in developing a plan to address a wide range of concerns. Services are delivered using the evidence-based practice of One-at-a-Time (single-session counselling).

If a client requires support beyond the Quick Access Clinic, the clinician collaborates with the client to determine and facilitate the most appropriate referral. Assess the needs of children, youth and families, formulating treatment plans including goals and service strategies. # Meet with clients and/or their families to provide support & counselling, using evidence based/informed programs. # Assist client(s) in making referrals to community resources as needed. # Provide consultation to New Path Staff, other agency personnel or the community. # Employer Paid Group Benefits and Employer Pension Match Program ~4 weeks paid vacation per year to start (maximum vacation entitlement is 7 weeks) ~ Additional paid time for sick, birthday, float,



1/2 days on Christmas and Current Years Eve ~ Employee and Family Assistance Program - provides short-term counselling, wellness resources, perks and free virtual fitness programs ~ Over 10+ committees where staff, youth and families can join and partner to co-develop projects, processes and services that impact or interest them which directly contributes to our culture of inclusion and engagement Bachelor of Social Work (B.Minimum two years' experience working with children, youth and their families in a children's mental health or related service # Experience/training in Single Session Counselling # Youth and family focused; Meaningfully engages youth and families and collaborates to facilitate positive change. # Takes personal responsibility for enhancing individual and team performance by promoting cooperation and commitment. # Demonstrates awareness for the backgrounds, values, beliefs and traditions of staff, clients, families and communities we serve. # Continuously assesses and challenges assumptions, personal unconscious bias and commits to understanding diverse perspectives, experiences and their intersectionality. # Commits to ongoing training to build the knowledge, awareness and skills, that contribute to creating a culturally safe environment for staff,



clients and families. # Competency and effective use of database and Microsoft Office systems. # Confident, articulate and professional when communicating verbally and in writing. # French language is an asset. The promotion of self-care and staff well-being is part of our everyday culture.

We value people's time both at work and home. Working hours are 11:00AM to 7:00PM Monday -Thursday, Some flexibility to attend training and all staff events on Fridays. # This position is performed in office/on-site to support the in-person meeting preferences of our clients and families. # Willingness to travel to other agency offices and community using personal vehicle. Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
