We invite applications for a Temporary Part-Time Library Assistant (30 hrs/wk ) for the 2026/2027 school year. Reporting to the Principal, the Library Assistant will be actively involved in creating an environment that is dynamic and collaborative for inquiry, with unlimited accessibility, where all learners are welcomed, engaged and supported in their personalized learning pursuits both in the library and within classrooms.

Experience and/or training with library procedures, cataloguing and filing systems Experience in an automated workplace and in the library field is preferred Other combinations of applicable education, training, and experience, which provide the knowledge, abilities,



and skills necessary to perform the position may be considered Proficiency with both Google and Microsoft platforms is required Library act as a resource to teachers and students in obtaining information and materials, circulation, maintaining and updating the resources necessary for a school library, and providing research and resource support to students and staff at the school.
