Currently, we are seeking Development Miners at a number of locations to join our growing team. Technica is seeking individuals that have experience Manual and Mechanized Bolting (jackleg/stopers), operating Jumbo and Long Tom Drills, Conventional Mining, as well as Scoop operators in various positions across Ontario including: Participating in other facets of underground development, as required, which includes LHD operation, mechanized bolting, service advance and other underground activities Assisting with other support duties such as mechanical installations; maintenance of air, water and ventilation; Performing pre-operational inspections and ensuring safe operation of manual bolting equipment such as jacklegs/stoppers, Inspecting existing underground headings and scaling loose rocks while working according to work procedures and company policies within a safety conscious environment, Must have Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core (U0000 to U0012) or equivalent provincial designation Minimum of 2 years underground development experience required Accreditation in the following specialty modules considered an asset: U0020: Perform Trackless Haulage- Operate Scoop Tram- Remote Control U0068: Haulage Trackless- Operate Scoop Tram U0091- Operate Haulage Truck Previous experience using a jackleg and stoper considered an asset,
