Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Agent role based in Canada.

The Travel

Agent will assist clients in planning and booking complete travel itineraries, including flights, hotel accommodations, car rentals, cruises, and vacation packages. Day-to-day tasks include providing personalized travel recommendations, managing reservations and changes, processing payments, and ensuring accurate documentation. The role involves handling customer inquiries in person and by phone or email, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of travel regulations, promotions, and vendor offerings.

Agent will also support sales goals by promoting agency services, upselling relevant travel products, and building long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Reservations and Travel Arrangements, with the ability to coordinate complex itineraries.
- Proven Customer Service experience, including handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Knowledge of Car Rental and related travel services, with the ability to recommend suitable options.
- Sales skills, including cross-selling and upselling travel products and services.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems and GDS platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, or similar) is beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work in office in Canada, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a client-focused environment.
- Previous experience in a travel agency or tourism-related role and relevant certifications or training in travel and tourism are an asset.
