Ocean View is located in a vibrant communitywith over 20 local shops and restaurants, creating a agile and engagingenvironment for both staff and residents. Under the direction of the assigned Supervisor/Manager, the Housekeeper is a fundamental part of the team that provides supportive services in the Home.

Cleaning and maintaining assigned areas of the facility in a sanitary condition. General laundry duties including sorting, loadingand folding of laundry and delivering to neighbourhoods. Supporting residents to “live well” accordingto assigned tasks, within scope of employment Knowledge and ability to operate and clean institutional equipment (kitchen,laundry, and sanitation) Must be comfortable working with seniors with varying levels of disability.

Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check and clear Vulnerable SectorCheck.

Ocean View Continuing Care Centre Offers: Free Parking& on Bus Route In accordance with current collective agreement between Ocean View Continuing Care Centre and CUPE Local 1245.

Rotation: Weekends / Days / Evenings / Holidays; May bechanged as necessary to meet the operational requirements of the facility.
