Responsibilities

As a Truck/Trailer Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will be:

- Complete work orders and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work evenings, from 3:30 p.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday.
- Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure repairs are completed on time. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and new technologies in the heavy‑dui vehicle mechanics field.
- We offer a $2,000 signing bonus, distributed as follows: $500 after 3 months, $500 after 6 months, and $1,000 after 12 months of employment. In addition,



we offer an annual $500 tool allowance to support your professional development and ensure you have the necessary equipment to excel in your role.

Qualifications

- Be knowledgeable with heavy vehicle mechanics or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- 3 or more years of mechanical experience would be an asset.
- Supply your own tools.
- Knowledge of air brake systems.
- Familiarity with electronic diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in various positions.
- Positive communication skills to interact with team members and customers.
- Work evenings (3:30 p.m. to midnight) Monday – Friday.
