About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused White Glove Delivery Driver to join the team at Gill Logistics. In this role, you aren’t just moving freight; you are the final point of contact for our customers. You will be responsible for the safe, professional, and careful transport and installation of high-end appliances, ensuring every customer receives a premium, "white glove" service experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Premium Service Delivery: Provide white-glove, doorstep-to-room delivery service, ensuring every appliance is handled with extreme care to prevent damage to the product or the customer's property.
- Professional Transport: Safely operate a 26-foot straight truck, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Careful Handling: Expertly load, unload, and maneuver large appliances (up to 150 lbs) using proper techniques and safety equipment.
- Customer Communication: Serve as the face of our company by maintaining a polite, professional, and helpful demeanor with every client.
- Route & Compliance: Efficiently manage delivery routes to meet scheduled windows while accurately documenting logs, mileage, and work/rest periods.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and readiness.

Requirements:

- Licensing:



Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a 26-foot straight truck.
- Physical Capability: Physically capable of heavy lifting (up to 150 lbs) and navigating varied terrain to position appliances correctly within homes.
- Service Excellence: Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally in high-end residential environments.
- Reliability: Proven ability to work safely, manage time effectively, and operate independently or with a delivery helper.
- Logistics Knowledge: Familiarity with warehouse loading procedures and inventory handling is an asset.
