Engage in groundbreaking oncology research as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Calgary. This full-time role is pivotal for managing clinical studies and participant engagement. Situated at the Colon Cancer Screening Centre (CCSC), this fixed-term position offers a unique opportunity in clinical research.
You will oversee participant recruitment, informed consent, and data management while ensuring compliance with ethical standards. Successful candidates will have a robust foundation in clinical trials and experience in health-related research. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and conduct clinical research projects per study protocols
- Recruit participants from diverse clinics and care pathways
- Conduct consent discussions with participants
- Manage data entry and participant scheduling
- Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards are maintained
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant health field is required
- Preferred 5 years of clinical research experience
- Certification in clinical research (e.g., CCRP) is beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and REDCap
- Knowledge of GCP and ethical research practices
