- Contributes to the credit unions marketing plan where necessary, recommends and administers policy guidelines, and sets short- and long-term goals for the department
- Reviews and negotiates recent and existing account agreements to ensure consistency, profitability, and adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assists setting up of Pre-Authorized Payment/Deposit System of electronic transmission of funds through BC Central 1’s Customer Automated Funds Transfer System (CAFT)




- Prepares departmental budget by establishing goals and objectives and assesses and ensures the department’s ability to meet these objectives
- Participates in a variety of management initiatives by contributing to the design and development of policies and programs, presenting proposals to executive management, and preparing reports and making recommendations. Presentations using Power Point & familiarity with the World Wide Web. Knowledge of and ability to sell Registered Retirement products including setting up and administering group plans
- Knowledge of credit union operations, including financial, lending, administrative, and other operational procedures, practices and requirements
- Knowledge of principles, practices, methods, techniques of business development and marketing credit union services, including corporate client on-line Pre-Authorized Deposit and Debit via Customer Automated Funds Transfer System (CAFT) and internet access
- Ability to work without supervision and to be on call during non-office hours
