Overview
Join our compassionate team as a Volunteer Caregiver / Attendant, where your dedication and empathy will make a meaningful difference. We are looking for a volunteer to provide light to moderate caregiving support for a person with a disability.
Duties
- Provide general caregiving support with day-to-day routines and personal needs
- Help with drinks, meals, retrieving items, and simple household tasks
- Provide companionship and assistance including coffee runs, walks/rolls, errands, occasional social outings
- Assist with positioning, organization, and maintaining a comfortable environment
- Support respiratory care routines and equipment setup where appropriate
- Follow established routines and instructions while respecting personal preferences and independence
- Help with occasional community or social activities
The Ideal Candidate
- Friendly, patient, and dependable
- Respectful of independence, privacy, and personal preferences
- Comfortable around a wheelchair equipment and basic respiratory equipment
- Able to follow routines and instructions while using valuable judgment
- Calm, attentive, and supportive
- Reliable with communication and scheduling
- Healthcare, nursing, PSW, rehabilitation, or caregiving experience is an asset, but not required

Proximity to the South Etobicoke / West Toronto area is preferred. Pay: $100.00 per year
