Volunteer DriverThunder Bay, ONOverview:Do you have extra time and an interest in making a difference in the lives of children, youth and families? We are seeking dedicated and motivated Volunteers to support our organization’s mission through various community engagement and program activities.Duties/Responsibilities:Drive children to and from appointments/visits, as scheduled.Ensure child is picked up on time from scheduled pick-up point and passed to a responsible adult at place of appointment.Conveys pertinent information back to worker/agency that may be observed or verbalized by child during trips.Requirements/Qualifications:G driver's license.Access to a reliable vehicle.$1 million liability insurance.Versatile schedule.Commitment required: 8 months with an average of approximately 2-3 hours per week.
