Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Warehouse operator is responsible for performing all warehouse duties as required. Material handling of some hazardous products Monitor inventory levels of Company products Pick orders and prepare them for shipping using a forklift to place products on skids and wrap skids, and then load the skids onto trucks Assists with the off-loading with trucks and putting away of product Bulk liquid transfer from rail to tank or truck Prepares product orders for customers to include custom blending and packaging Cleans and maintains the warehouse and equipment Some outdoor work required in various weather conditions High school diploma or equivalent working experience Strong organizational, mathematical, computer and clerical skills Self-motivated and able to work within company policy where experience and Forklift operation experience an asset WHMIS and/or TDG training an asset Paid training and development programs at every level Competitive salary, advantages to include; employer paid medical & dental, short term and long term disability coverage, pension with employer matched contributions Employee Resource Networks that are advocating for advancing diversity, equity and inclusion within the company Univar Solutions is a leading, global distributor of chemicals and ingredients essential to the safety, health, and wellbeing of our daily lives from life-saving medicines and vitamins to hand sanitizers and industrial materials used for cleaning,
