Solutions, a division of Clearpoint Health Network is recruiting for an Inventory Specialist in Calgary.

Position Type : Permanent That all stages of the inventory management process are complete and in accordance with policies and processes. Compliance with contract terms and conditions assigned within vendor groups. Maintain and update the inventory management system Ensure that all stages of the inventory management process are complete and in accordance with policies and processes.

Purchase specialized medical supplies, implants and equipment within your purchasing authority. Compliance with contract terms and conditions assigned within vendor groups. Maintain and update the inventory management system Track orders and maintain inventory records and monitor purchase-order fulfillment. conduct demand forecasting and procurement recommendations.

Standardizing and maximizing the value of items purchased. Shipping and receiving all loaners and repairs. Close out purchase orders and fiscal periods in the inventory management system within required timelines.

Review weekly operating room slates with the Nurse Manager and Inventory colleague. Assist in the training and onboarding of recent staff.



Coordinate and manage inventory counts and audits. Post-secondary education in supply chain management. ~ Healthcare/medical device background, experience with surgical vendors and contract management experience. ~ Knowledge and understanding of aseptic techniques. ~3-5 yrs procurement and/or supply chain experience required. ~ A high level of professionalism (exceptional customer service and organizational skills) results-oriented individual with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines with a high level of attention to detail. ~ Excellent English language skills (reading, written, verbal and comprehension) ~ Experience in a computerized inventory control system. ~ Experience in shipping and receiving, warehousing and material handling.
