Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and cleanliness protocols
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure the restaurant area is clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift to promote a safe and welcoming environment
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food industry setting is preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering tasks
- Solid time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
- Prior experience in serving or cashiering roles that demonstrate excellent customer service skills
