Relocation is required for this role. Permanent on‑site position working shift to support a 24‑hour operation. Responsible for all metal fabrication, metal welding including pressure welding, brazing, cutting, and gouging.

Read and interpret structural steel drawings, pipe and pressure vessel drawings. Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, dismantle, modify and repair plate and structural steel, plant and mine equipment. Align with work safety policies and safety regulations.

Fully Licensed

Journeyperson ~ Trade Certification in Metal Fabricator/Plate worker (437A Red Seal) is required and CWB Certified. Minimum 4 years of progressive industrial experience is preferred.



Knowledge of welding codes and standards.

Experience with rigging and material handling. Knowledge of specific welding hazards to protect self and others is required.

Experience with metal working equipment (shear, brake press, rolls, radial drill, and power saws). Ability to interpret and work off shop drawings in a custom fabrication workplace.
