Become a Metadata and Cataloguing Librarian at Wilfrid Laurier University Library! This full-time role emphasizes cataloguing, electronic resources, and collection analysis to advance library services. In this continuing track position, you will work within the Information Resources Department to optimize library assets and enhance user experiences.

Collaborating with library leadership, you'll manage metadata projects, analyze resource collections, and maintain high standards in metadata and cataloguing practices. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage bibliographic and digital collection metadata
- Contribute to catalog record updates using library platforms
- Develop and implement metadata strategies
- Ensure discoverability of resources using evolving tools
- Document and communicate metadata policies

Requirements:

- ALA accredited MLIS or equivalent needed
- Proven expertise in MARC, AACR2, RDA standards
- Familiarity with electronic resource management technology
- Robust analytical and organizational skills
- Commitment to inclusion and accessibility standards
