This position entails monitoring swimmers and engaging with participants to track their progress in a friendly, inclusive setting. You will implement safety protocols and provide timely feedback to members and parents. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver swim lessons to diverse participant groups
- Actively monitor the pool area at all times
- Communicate participants' progress and needs
- Enforce safety regulations and aid in emergencies
- Record attendance and ensure cleanliness of aquatics areas Requirements:
- Minimum 16 years of age with specific supervision
- CPR-C and Standard First Aid certifications
- Required National Lifeguard certification within a year
- YMCA Swim Instructor or Lifesaving Instructor certification
