Join the Victims Services Branch as a full time Coordinator based in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. This position focuses on assisting victims and witnesses, especially children and vulnerable groups, throughout the court process. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison for victims and witnesses in the Southeast region.
You will assess needs, educate the public, and support court interactions while working alongside Crown prosecutors. Presentations to professionals and community members will also be part of your responsibilities, along with supervising an administrative assistant. Flexibility is essential, as you will need to travel throughout the region. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate specialized services for victims and witnesses
- Collaborate with Crown prosecutors for effective support
- Develop and deliver training presentations
- Manage one administrative support staff
- Travel regularly across Southeast Saskatchewan
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Social Work degree or similar experience
- Proven knowledge of court procedures and victim impact
- Strong communication skills for diverse audiences
- Ability to work independently and adapt schedules
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
