Duties

- Demonstrate proper techniques and drills to ensure safe and effective skill acquisition.
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth among participants.
- Collaborate with other coaches and program staff to plan progressive training programs aligned with athlete development goals.
- Monitor participant progress through regular feedback and adjust coaching strategies to maximize improvement.
- Promote safety protocols on the ice,
ensuring all participants follow guidelines for injury prevention.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching or coaching hockey at various skill levels.
- Strong knowledge of hockey fundamentals, game strategies, and player development principles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate athletes of all ages.
- Ability to demonstrate skating techniques confidently; familiarity with advanced skating skills is a plus.
- Basic understanding of swimming is desirable for cross-training programs or aquatic warm-up activities.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment for all participants.
- Certification in first aid or sports safety is preferred but not mandatory.
