Cutting Edge Construction Ltd. is seeking an experienced Journeyperson Carpenter or Skilled Construction Professional for full time work exclusively within the Westman region. We're looking for someone with commercial construction and renovation experience who can lead a small crew, take ownership of projects, and deliver quality workmanship.

The successful candidate will be provided with a company truck and a fully equipped company tool trailer.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Perform wood and steel framing, door and window installation
- Complete concrete forming as required
- Ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Lead and mentor a crew of 3 to 4 labourers and apprentices
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to keep projects on schedule

Qualifications

- Journeyperson Carpenter certification or equivalent construction experience




- Experience in commercial construction and renovations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading and layout
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
