Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Ontario Certified Teachers or Teacher Candidates for High School Math and Science Tutoring to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals through personalized instruction and support. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to engage with students of various ages and learning styles.

Position: Part-Time Tutor
Location: Summit Ridge Academy, Oakville, ON
Start Date: Ongoing

About the Role

As a tutor at Summit Ridge Academy, you will:

- Deliver engaging, individualized lessons aligned with the Ontario curriculum
- Support students in literacy and numeracy
- Foster confidence and a love of learning in every child
- Collaborate with a supportive team of educators who share a passion for student success
- Work with students with a variety of learning needs

Qualifications

- Must hold Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification- Comfortable teaching high school level math and /or science




- Experience working with diverse learners is strongly preferred
- Canadian teaching experience is necessary
- Special Education qualifications or experience are considered a significant asset
- Very Strong English communication and interpersonal skills required
- Flexible, reliable, and committed to making learning enjoyable and meaningful
- Have references confirmed and ready to be contacted.

Pay: $25.00-$48.00 per hour
